Ing. Peter Ďurčanský, PhD
Research engineer
He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Žilina, Department of Transport and Handling Technology, Department of Combustion Engines and Aircraft Engines. After studying, he enrolled in PhD at the Department of Power Engineering, where he dealt with dissertation work on heat transfer to the Stirling engine working medium. Currently, he works as a researcher at the Department of Energy Technology. In his scientific research he deals with heat transfer and energy machines. It collaborates to solve the tasks of heat transport, energy storage in the form of natural gas hydrates. He has worked on several grant assignments projects. He is lecturing bachelor and engineering subjects Heat and Mass Transfer, Energy Audits, Certification and Renewable Energy Sources. He is the leader and opponent of several bachelor and diploma theses. He is the author of one foreign contribution, two utility models and more than thirty scientific contributions at domestic and foreign conferences and magazines.
